Projections on the dome of St. Peter for the Jubilee opening

Tuesday, December 8, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Jubilee from 19 to 22 on the facade of St. Peter's Basilica will be shown for three consecutive hours pictures of the great masters of photography, such as Sebastiao Salgado, Joel Sartore, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Ron Fricke.

The event, entitled Fiat Lux, enlighten our common home, is inspired by the important topics of climate change and human dignity, treated by Pope Francis in the encyclical Praised yes.

The photographs proposals, beautiful shots of nature from around the world, want to reflect on the emergency climate telling the visual story of the mutual dependence of men and of life on earth with the planet, in order to educate and inspire a change on the issues of change climate without distinction of generations, cultures, languages, religions and classes.
